Praise FM 89.5 began as a vision of Pastor David Mallory and Arnie Coones in 1994. Starting with only 6,000 watts of power, we now reach Collier and Lee counties with 100,000 powerful watts. Praise FM operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from its Naples studio location.

We play Adult Contemporary Christian music from a wide range of artists – it’s uplifting music with wholesome lyrics. Our educational programming comes from many well-known speakers sharing a positive message. Listeners know that when they tune in everyone can listen safely.

We’re also involved in our community in a variety of ways, including on-air weekly Community Focus programs, free Public Service Announcements (PSAs) and our website’s interactive Community Calendar.  Your donations allow us to encourage and equip those who already know Christ as well as reach out to all those in our community who don't yet know Him.

Praise FM 89.5 is a non-profit, non-commercial radio ministry. This means we operate on the generous donations of our listeners and Business Underwriting partners. There are high costs associated with broadcasting 24 hours a day, but Praise FM has been able to keep many costs to a minimum. Business Underwriters play a vital role in keeping us on the air which allows us to play the music and programming you enjoy!

Praise FM Business Underwriters include businesses, organizations and non-profit ministries who want to inform Southwest Florida about their products or services. We air these announcements Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM (except holidays and during our annual Sharathon fundraiser when special programming airs).

Business Underwriters receive 30-second pre-recorded announcements in return for monthly support. Pre-recorded announcements can include your business name, products or services, hours of business, address, phone number, and website. We work with you to write your spot in such a way to give listeners valuable information about your business or organization while complying with all the FCC rules for non-commercial radio. As an additional benefit, we include current Business Underwriters on our website.

Praise FM 89.5 is a listener-supported ministry. Business Underwriters (businesses and organizations) make up a portion of our monthly budget e rely on businesses and organizations to help meet a monthly budget that is typically smaller than other radio formats. Praise FM is a non-profit, non-commercial radio ministry - we can accept tax deductible donations to directly support the operation of our radio station in accordance with FCC regulations.
